Transforming Youth Movement
COVID-19 Phase 2
As a movement committed to relationships and proximity, TYM has given great consideration about what the COVID-19 pandemic means for our organization. We remain committed to providing services to youth while ensuring our programs are sustained in ways that are intentional and safe. We are actively seeking solutions, advocating, and doing all we can to serve families in our community. Although our physical routines remain restricted, our staff continues working hard to connect families to resources, strengthen relationships and foster experiences that contribute to better outcomes. Being there, even if not in physical proximity; listening, learning, loving and leading…showing up in whatever way makes sense, is as powerful as ever.
TYM is leveraging technology, creative ideas and a growing network of resources to continue offering a variety of virtual opportunities for youth over the summer. We are also excited to resume in-person services and day camps across our community service, mentoring and vocational skill building programs.
TYM is has updated agency protocols and will be implementing the following strategies to encourage behaviors that reduce the spread of COVID-19.
