CRM/TYM Wellness Skill Building Program introduces youth to 6 basic wellness skills that help them understand
their nervous system and learn to track feelings connected to their own well-being. Using the wisdom of
their own bodies, youth experience rapid relief from stress-related symptoms, as well as an increased
sense of control over future wellness.
Shift Mentoring Program creates community-based mentoring relationships between adult mentors and at-opportunity youth. This relationship exposes youth to new opportunities for learning and growth with an emphasis on developing important life skills necessary for future success.
Shift Community Service & Restitution Program connects justice-involved and diverted youth to
meaningful service opportunities that enhance social skills, facilitate connections with positive adults in the community, promote civic engagement and help participants earn dollars towards victim restitution.
Get Hired Youth Employability Program provides basic employability skills instruction followed by
individual sessions with a job coach to secure employment, internship or apprenticeship with local government agencies, private businesses, or nonprofit organizations.Youth earn a $725 stipend after successfully completing the program.
Union County Teen Court is an alternative system of restorative Justice that places strong emphasis on accountability, positive peer influence and youth empowerment. Youth volunteers play the roles of Clerk of Court, Bailiff, Defense and Prosecuting Attorneys, and Jurors. Local Judges and Attorneys preside over Teen Court.
